OS Reinstall (no backup)

OS Reinstall with no backup means we wipe off the old , cluttered, non-working version of Windows and replace it with an updated version of the OS the system is licensed for to alleviate the consumer from having to look up drivers and do days of updates.  This option is also really good for systems bought at state auctions, yard sales, etc…

Rebuild (OS Reinstall, Backup, Clean)

We will make an entire backup of your drive’s contents and will reload your system with the correct  OS for your system and replace all of your information back onto your hard drive.  PLEASE NOTE: THIS DOES NOT COVER PROGRAMS LIKE OFFICE, QUICKBOOKS, ANTIVIRUS PROGRAMS, GAMES, OR OTHER CONTENT WHERE A LICENSE IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO INSTALL THE PROGRAM!!!

DC Jack Repair

DC Jack repair means that the jack inside the system is still in one piece and has just come loose from the main board.  This usually happens when trauma occurs at the jack’s point of entry.  MOST boards have only one jack, but there are a few that have as many as three because of the modifications done to the outside of the laptop by its manufacturer.

DC Jack Replacement

DC Jack Replacement means the jack has suffered SEVERE trauma at the point of entry (usually dropped or having fallen off a bed, lap, couch, with the adapter still plugged into the unit) and the jack has to be removed from the main board and having a new one put in its place.  Please keep in mind that the adapters are just as susceptible to damage, if not more so, due to the way it is being treated, bent, jerked out of the unit, etc…

A/C Adapter Repair

If you bring in an AC to DC inverter for your laptop that has been chewed on by your pet or, has been caught and pulled and it no longer works, these CAN be fixed.  If the adapter will power the laptop but will not charge the battery, it’s a good indication there is a short in your adapter.  These things can be fixed and save you a lot of money.

Hard Drive Backup & Replacement

If we can diagnose hard drives early enough, we can make a mirrored image and replace your old hard drive and re-image the new hard drive without losing ANY of your data, programs, etc… Don’t wait until it doesn’t boot anymore, or the drive has to be put in a very cold environment just to get the drive to respond.  At this point, the data is no longer valid and cannot be pulled from the drive.

Clean-up and Maintenance of both software and hardware

We specialize in cleaning both the software and the hardware. We use several programs to remove redundant and doubled files from the system. We clean the hardware by removing dust, trash, etc. from the actual system itself by using compressed air.

As a courtesy, we want you to get the most out your computer and, in order to do so, we make sure your Windows has all the necessary updates and security patches so chances of accidentally getting infected with a virus or someone being able to “hack” into your system is all but eliminated.

Verify integrity of Anti-virus programs and make sure the virus definitions are updated

Having some kind of protection on your system, whether free or pay type is a MUST for anyone who has their system connected to the internet.  On pay versions, we check the expiration date to make sure that you are not already vulnerable, or within 30 days of losing your protection and we also make sure you have the most up-to-date virus definitions on your system.  On the free versions, we make sure you have the latest version software and the latest updates.
